- You may want to scale the page view when the back/forward panel is activated. People may want to click forward and back a few times, or even temporarily keep this menu in view, but as it is they are getting a partial view of content. This could be particularly annoying if the last section of text in a paragraph is cut off. To keep a person’s place, the trick would be to scale upwards *and* downwards so that as text is repositioned, the visible portion of window is in the same spot.

An idea. Only make the tab zoom out when swiping the screen to the left, such that the left side can be dedicated to back, forward, bookmark, etc… and users won’t accidentally be zooming out of their tabs.
